Avi (AH-vee) is the name, I am a freelance photographer based in Portland, OR

I specialize in portraiture and product photography.

Just a little bit about me:

I grew up in Israel for most of my life, moved back to the States at the age of 21, and lived in Florida, Washington, California, Texas, and now in Oregon.

I picked up my first camera at the age of 6, always loved taking photos and documenting everything.

During my teen years, I forgot about it, joined the Israeli Navy at 18, and it was only a few years later when I was 23 and living in Texas - it happened again.

One of my friends bought a Nikon D3200, I remember him bringing it to work one day, and all of a sudden it ALL CAME BACK TO ME. That need to photograph everything.

So, the next day I went to Walmart and bought myself a new camera.

Needless to say, all of my friends got annoyed with me pretty quickly.

That's where it all began. again.

Today, I am an international award-winning portrait photographer, an award-winning short film writer and director, a photography instructor, and mentor.

My client list includes Re/Max, Black Rock Coffee, Dosha Salon and Spa, Aveda Institute of Portland, Aveda Institute of Portland - Vancouver Campus, Portland Leather Goods, Be Well Juice Bar Bank of The Pacific, and many more.

I am also contracted by Iconic Group Inc. and VIDA Select - Modern Matchmaking & Elite Dating Service, and The Portland Marathon.
